Netball

Today our St Marys District Netball Team competed at the Sydney West Carnival. We won 3 of our games and all the rest were very close, only a point or two down, including against the team who won the carnival. It was wonderful to see our team was competitive throughout the day.

Three of our students played an additional game to compete for a spot in the Sydney West Team (Harlie M, Harriet A and Mia E). Unfortunately, our girls weren’t chosen, but it was a fantastic opportunity for them and the most we’ve had considered from our side (in the last 3 years I have coached the team anyway).

The girls demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship, given feedback was applied and their behaviour was outstanding. Every single player gave it their absolute all.

What an amazing day. We are so proud of our girls.
